Lila West is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst class of 2015 with a B.A in Theater and English, focusing in Costume Design. She is a freelance costume designer in the Boston area with a full time position as a stitcher at Costume Works Inc in Somerville. Boston credits include Broadway Jukebox, The Hotel Nepenthe, Songs for a New World and From Water to Dust (Brown Box Theatre Project), A Bright Room Called Day (Flat Earth Theatre Company), 9 to 5, Peter and the Star Catcher, Chicago, Hamlet, Urinetown, and The Laramie Project (BHS Performing Arts Company), and Hard and Fast: a love story (Boston Public Works). She was the costume designer for the Mountain Playhouse 2015 summer season working on productions of Cotton Patch Gospel, Chapter Two, Nana's Naughty Knickers, Church Basement Ladies, Hound of the Baskervilles, and Forever Plaid. While attending UMass, she designed productions of Dead Man's Cell Phone (April 2015) and Detroit (November 2013).
